City Response to Homelessness

Recently, we have been contacted by citizens with concerns about people experiencing
homelessness living in the Lion’s Shelter at Lake Sacajawea. Several citizens have voiced
frustration that this has been allowed by the city. The homeless problem is complex and there
is not a quick solution but we are committed to working towards finding solutions.
One of the police department’s core values is to protect the rights of all.
