Summer Internship with Washington State Parks and the United States Forest Service

The Mount St. Helens Visitor Center is seeking to recruit an Interpretive Naturalist Intern to help staff the Information Desk and assist with nature-based educational programming offered to the public this summer. Shared housing available. Course Credit can be earned.

Position: part time, 24-32 hours/week. Must be available on weekends.
Timeframe: June – early September (start and end date flexible)

The City of Longview has contracted out construction of sidewalks for the Shay Locomotive to Lee Contractors. Work on the sidewalks will begin March 25, 2019, and project completion is scheduled for the week of April 22, 2019.

Starting April 17, 2019, at Community Home Health & Hospice in Longview

LONGVIEW, Wash., March 21, 2019 – Community Home Health & Hospice is offering an eight-week, free grief support group for survivors of suicide loss at the James Avery Center for Grief Support, 1000 – 12th Ave., Longview, WA. The group meets Wednesdays from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, from April 17, 2019 – June 12, 2019. Facilitated by Mary Fleming, MSW, and Rick Sievers, Assistant Bereavement Coordinator.
