Why Graduation Matters Essay Contest 

If you will be a Freshman-Senior female student at a local high school in Cowlitz or Wahkiakum Counties from 2019-2020 school year, here is your opportunity to start the first day of school with new threads and haircut. JoJo + CoCo, Wander Shoes and Hair by Lindsay Manthe are partnering with United Way of Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties to gift 10 local girls a new outfit, a pair of shoes, and a haircut, if selected for their essay about "Why graduation matters!" This illuminates United Way's focus on getting all students to graduation prepared for diverse secondary opportunities and beyond.

Essay should be no longer than 2 pages typed and must include your name, grade you will be in for the 2019-2020 school year and high school you attend or will attend. Must include your email and phone number.

Deadline for essay submission is Friday, June 14, 2019

Selected essay recipients will be able to meet with JoJo + CoCo, Wander Shoes and Hair by Lindsay Manthe at an arranged date in August to select new outfit and shoes and get a haircut.
