A community event to discuss prescription and other substance abuse in our communities.
PART 2 FOCUS: PREVENTION
Woodland High School Library, November 8, 2018, 5:30 to 7:30 PM – Pathways 2020, Longview Anti-Drug Coalition, Woodland and Kalama Police Departments, Connecting Cowlitz Communities, Youth & Family Link and Cowlitz County Sheriff, Mark Nelson, welcomes the public to attend Part 2 of 3 Town Hall Meetings in South Cowlitz County to discuss substance abuse in our communities with a focus on prevention.
The evening is kindly hosted at the Woodland High School Library, located at 1500 Dike Access Road, Woodland WA 98625. Dinner graciously provided at no cost and is served from 5:30 to 5:50 before presentations begin.
Presentations by: Chief Jim Kelly - Woodland Police Department and Aliza with The Beacon. The rest of the evening will be an interactive community conversation about prevention with a panel of experts on the importance of well child checks for prevention, intervention and safe storage and disposal.
Doors open at 5:30 PM. There is no registration or cost to attend. Part 3 focused on treatment is scheduled for December 6, 2018.
