TOGETHER LET’S END SEXUAL VIOLENCE // THERE IS HELP & THERE IS HOPE // July 2018
Hope Project provides free & confidential support to survivors of sexual assault and/or
the loved ones of survivors, no matter where you are at in your healing process.
Your Voice Matters
Taking a stand, in preventing sexual violence in our community takes all of us. For many, the topic of sexual violence can be uncomfortable. Even though it may be hard for you to talk about, there are many other ways one can do their part in the prevention of sexual violence and the building of a safe, respectful community for all.
Providing our children and young adults with the right tools for building healthy relationships and establishing healthy boundaries is a huge step that will change the future for generations to come.
Encourage respect for themselves and respect for others. Discuss ways everyone can help in the prevention of bullying by stopping the name-calling and harassment. Let's work together to create a widespread acceptance of diversity both in the schools and in the workplace.
Together, we can make the change. Each and every one of us has a right to be respected and the right to be heard. Start the conversation today. Your voice does matter!
Saying things out loud makes them happen.
Join the movement by taking the pledge. Commit to helping create a culture of consent, bystander intervention and survivor support.
