COOKIN’ COUNTRY 105.5, KUKN’S ACOUSTIC CONCERT SERIES CONTINUES WITH AN “AMERICAN IDOL” AND “THE VOICE” FINALIST
Cookin’ Country 105.5, KUKN has announced the new rescheduled date for the KUKN Acoustic Concert with Jessica Meuse. Warrior Records recording artist and songwriter Jessica Meuse will now be performing on Thursday, May 16th at 7pm at The Columbia Theatre.
The show was originally scheduled for April 10th but was cancelled due to illness. All tickets from the April 10th date will be honored at the new date. Just bring your tickets to the show.
Jessica Meuse grew up in Alabama. She has wowed audiences since the age of 10 and plays several instruments (guitar, piano, and classical violin). At 20, Jessica won the statewide artist showcase, Stars of Alabama. Since then she was on NBC’s The Voice and placed Top 4 on American Idol. Jessica also became the first person in the history of Idol to perform her own original song during the finals. Her new single “Thank God It Didn’t Work” is climbing the charts and has already had well over a million Facebook Streams.
KUKN General Manager/Program Director John Paul said, “there have only a been a few artists that have been on both American Idol and The Voice and gone as far as Jessica has. This is a chance to not only see but meet an unbelievable talent who has successfully competed on two major TV talent competitions.”
