Recreate Responsibly on the White Pass Scenic Byway

The White Pass Scenic Byway is one of the most scenic and easily accessible outdoor recreation areas in Washington State. Following the guidelines mandated in the recovery of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are all on our way towards restoring access to our public lands. In doing so we extend an invitation to initiate this access responsibly with respect to our land, our wildlife, and our people.

Small rural communities are proceeding with caution due to a concern for over-populating areas that have limited resources. While the welcome mat is out, please limit your visit to day use until the Governor's orders allow us to resume all recreation activity later this summer.
