Longview Police Main Station, Satellite Closed for Memorial

Longview Police Department’s main station and satellite office will be closed Wednesday, April 24, 2019 to allow employees to attend the memorial for Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office Deputy Justin DeRosier.

Police will still be patrolling the streets and responding to calls while most LPD officers are attending the memorial. For non-emergency calls, call 360-577-3098. Please call 911 to report an emergency situation, crime in progress or situation that requires an immediate response from police, firefighters or emergency medical help.

Remember that you can file on-line reports for certain property crimes with no suspect information. This frees up an officer to be available for emergency calls while it offers you the ability to obtain a case number and print out your report.

Online reports should be filed online for the following types of incidents if the victim has no suspect information:

• Identity theft

• Lost property

• Theft

• Unattended hit-and-run (victim vehicle was parked with no one in it)

• Vandalism

• Vandalism to a vehicle (broken window, punctured tires, etc.)

• Vehicle prowl
