Cowlitz County CARES Emergency Business Grant

The Cowlitz Economic Development (CEDC) was selected to administer $1 million in CARES Act funding designated by the Cowlitz County Commissioners for a county wide small business grant fund program.  The CEDC’s track record of successfully administering the Governor’s Working Washington Small Business Emergency Grant program (WWSBEG) in addition to our work with the SW Community Foundation rent relief program gave the county assurance that we would administer the CARE Act funding successfully.

After much deliberation and a careful analysis of the facts available, it is with heavy hearts that the Cowlitz Black Bears staff is announcing the cancellation of the 2020 season. Our goal has always been to play and to provide a safe and entertaining gathering place that would act as a return to normalcy in our community.
