Free Blues Guitar Concert at the Longview Library

Join us Wednesday, May 9 at 6:00 p.m. for a fantastic musical performance by Dorian Michael. He will play some fingerstyle guitar and a bunch of blues at the Longview Library in a free concert for the public. Lyrical instrumentals, earthy blues, a couple jazz tunes, a Celtic tune, and plenty of variety in his repertoire.

He calls his solo music “contemporary traditional”; original music that reflects his interest in a number of styles of music. When he plays someone else’s music or a traditional piece he always manages to add a few surprises. Says Dorian, “Some music makes you feel, some makes you think and some music is just for the fun of it. I try to get to all those places in the space of a performance.”

Come enjoy Dorian’s inspiring performance May 9 at 6:00 p.m. in the Main Reading Room of the Longview Public Library. Call 360.442.5300 for more information or visit www.longviewlibrary.org to see all the programs happening at the library.
