I-1433 - Paid Sick Leave Rules Complete
The state’s new mandatory paid sick leave law takes effect Jan. 1, 2018. Below are links to the for the formal legal language, which includes enforcement provisions, and cost-benefit analysis on the law, which voters passed in November 2016.
The initiative also included annual increases to the state minimum wage. In 2018, the minimum wage will be $11.50 – up from $11 in 2017.
