Stageworks Northwest, Longview Theater:
Shirley Valentine – October 11 – 27 (2019)
Janeene Niemi stars as a middle-aged woman dreaming of a life of adventure and romance. One
day she impulsively leaves the drudgery of housework and husband and heads for the warm
Grecian sun. This one-woman comic monologue about personal and sexual identity was
nominated for a Tony Award and was named one of the top 10 most influential British

The Simon and Garfunkel Story – Friday, October 4 (2019)
‘The Simon and Garfunkel Story’ is a critically acclaimed concert style theatre show about two
young boys from Queens, New York who went on to become the world’s most successful music

The best one-hit-wonders from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. Re-live your favorite ONE HIT
WONDERS with music, dance, and visuals with cool AV that evokes the broadcast media of
their day…variety shows, the disco hit parades, MTV...And join the trio of singers, the 4-piece
rockin' band and dancers in celebrating those songs you hate to love.

The ARTRAGEOUS Experience! – Sunday, November 10 (2019)
Artrageous is a troupe of 12 artists, singers, dancers and musicians hailing from the high desert
of New Mexico. Their high-energy performance is a combination of fine art, live music,
singing, dancing, humor, and interaction in a frenzy of movement and color with a message of
the arts being an integral and valuable part of human existence. Artrageous brings their passion
for the arts to each theatre leaving their audiences of all ages smiling, singing and dancing
along.

40th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition– Friday, November 22 (2019)
It is an annual laugh riot as the Columbia Theatre hosts the 40th Seattle International Comedy
Competition. Featuring comics competing to be the “Last Comic Standing” after 26 days, 22
shows, 18 venues, and 32 comedians from all over the U.S., Canada, UK, and Japan. It’s
America’s biggest touring comedy festival and you’re a part of it. *18 and up

Longview-Kelso Community Concert Association:
Jason Lyle Black – Sunday, October 20 (2019)
Jason’s unique combination of familiar music, comedy, and interaction leaves audiences
laughing and crying in the same night. From his comedic routines like “Songs Not to Play at
People’s Weddings” to his upside-down, head-pedaling piano act, Jason wows and engages
audiences worldwide. A whirlwind of music and laughs.

Tickets for these shows will be available to check out beginning September 25 are limited and
first come first served. Patrons over 18 can checkout one pair of tickets for free per calendar
