Be a Reading Rock Star at the Longview Library

Be a Reading Rock Star at the Longview Library
The Longview Public Library wants you to make reading a habit this summer with the Libraries
Rock! Summer Reading program. Starting June 14, kids 3 years and up can track the days that
they read (or are read to) to receive virtual badges and real prizes. Every 10 days of reading
logged earns a reward. Log 30 days of reading to achieve Rock Star status and receive a special
prize package including a lanyard, book bag, and Burgerville gift card. You can read whatever
you like!
In addition to the reading challenges, you’re invited to fun, free activities around the Libraries
Rock! theme, including a family sock hop, instrument petting zoo, and a grand finale picnic
feature dad-band Micah & Me. Most events begin on June 20th; visit our website,
longviewlibrary.org, or call 360.442.5300 for more information
We also have reading challenges and prizes for babies and toddlers, middle- and high-schoolers,
and adults, so no one is left out! Everyone can sign up at the Longview Library starting June 14th
or pre-register online by following the Beanstack link at longviewlibrary.org.
