Notice of Public Hearing - City of Longview Comprehensive Plan Update

On Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., the Longview Planning Commission will hold
a public hearing on an update to the 2006 Longview Comprehensive Plan at Longview City
Hall, 1525 Broadway Street.

 A comprehensive plan is a blueprint for the city’s future and outlines the vision for the
city’s growth and development over the next 20 years.
 The draft comprehensive plan is ready for public review and can be found online at
mylongview.com or at Longview City Hall.

RiverCities Transit Center Construction Utility Work - Update #1

JH Kelly is continuing to work on the sanitary sewer tie-in at Florida Street. Florida Street

between 11th Avenue and the alley located east of 11th Avenue will be closed to traffic on

Thursday, January 24, 2019, 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.

 

Traffic will be detoured. In order to avoid delays, motorists are encouraged to use alternate

routes.

February Koth Gallery Show at Longview Public Library

The Koth Memorial Gallery at Longview Public Library will be displaying a variety of
artwork created by Lower Columbia College art students from February 1 through February
28. LCC students and staff will also host a reception for this show on February 5, from 3:00
p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Koth Gallery.

RiverCities Transit Center Construction Utility Work

JH Kelly, from Longview, WA is scheduled to complete a sanitary sewer tie-in at Florida
Street. The construction is scheduled to start on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 7:00 a.m.
and will be completed on the same day by 5:00 p.m.

During this work, Florida Street between 11th Avenue and the alley located east of 11th
Avenue will be closed to traffic. Traffic will be detoured.

In order to avoid delays, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.
