Water System Flushing Scheduled for Area #4

The City of Longview’s utility crews will be flushing water mains in the area between 15 Avenue, Ocean Beach Hwy and Lake Sacajawea, Friday September 28, 2018.

City Response to Homelessness

Recently, we have been contacted by citizens with concerns about people experiencing
homelessness living in the Lion’s Shelter at Lake Sacajawea. Several citizens have voiced
frustration that this has been allowed by the city. The homeless problem is complex and there
is not a quick solution but we are committed to working towards finding solutions.
One of the police department’s core values is to protect the rights of all.

The Koth Memorial Gallery at Longview Public Library will be displaying the Columbian
Artists Association Fall Members Show from October 2 through October 27. The Columbian
Artists Association will also host a reception for this show on October 6, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00
p.m. in the Koth Gallery.
