Solid Rock, The All New 101.5 The Blitz debuts a new lineup on Monday, May 16th.  Rock Radio Veterans Marconi and Eddie Barella will headline with “Mood Killers” mornings 6-10 and Porkchop will anchor afternoons from 3-8.

Marconi is best known for his massive ratings success at KUFO and KNRK in Portland, OR as well as 107.7 The End in Seattle.  Eddie Barella most recently hosted a show on Westwood One’s Rock 2.0 national format and worked at KBPI in Denver, CO.  Porkchop had huge success doing nights, then afternoons and mornings at KUFO.

“Since our debut in December, I’ve had so many listeners compare us to KUFO when they were Rock.  I figured why not get KUFO jocks on The Blitz?  I’m so excited to bring Marconi and Porkchop back to Rock Radio in the Northwest” said John Paul, The Blitz General Manager and Program Director.

Marconi and Eddie Barella said, “John Paul agreed to hire Mood Killers for The Blitz as long as we were willing to move his kids into their future college dorms and put together all of their IKEA furniture.  Mood Killers is like a buffet of dipping sauces. You'll never know just how bad we are until you've tried us."  Porkchop added, “when John Paul reached out to me about The Blitz, I was over the moon with excitement. He offered me afternoons on one condition, that I never ever wear a man diaper in the studio. We negotiated I could wear it one day a week.”

101.5 The Blitz debuted on December 27th and focuses on iconic, massive rock songs from the 1970’s to today with its core music set in the 1990’s and early 2000’s.  Listen to The Blitz at 101.5 FM and

101.5 The Blitz also operates 100.7 KLOG, Cookin’ Country 105.5, KUKN, Cowlitz Digital and The Cowlitz Podcast Network.  They are the only local radio group that is 100% locally programmed and owned with all the programming decisions made locally.
