We are Hiring for Social Media Services - Part Time

The Kelso Longview Chamber of Commerce is looking to hire a part-time person to provide Social Media Services at the Chamber. 

  • Should be familiar with Constant Contact, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, InDesign and other multi-media services
  • M-W-F, 15 to 20 hours per week and vacation relief,
  • $15 per hour

Duties:

  • Prepare and send two e-blasts for all Chamber Members, 3x weekly using Constant Contact, keep contact list updated
  • Keep our website updated with events, news, Chamber highlights and more
  • Maintain and update our ChamberMaster database
  • Update the Chamber social media pages (Kelso Longview Chamber, Lower Columbia Professionals, sQuatch Fest) with regular posts about our own and our Chamber Members’ events and news. Create photo albums, event pages and more as needed.
  • Regularly check the social pages of our members and share their events and relevant posts on social media and in our email blasts
  • Create event flyers and other graphics for events to be used on our website, social media and in our emails – usually using Publisher or Canva
  • Take photographs at events and share to social media
  • Respond to emails from members asking us to share their events
  • Work as part of the Chamber team at our events
  • Help in the Visitor Center – greet guests and answer their questions, answer the telephone, ring up purchases
