Sacajawea Fiber Arts Guild “Show and Tell” at Longview Public Library
On Saturday, October 12 the Longview Public Library will be hosting the Sacajawea Fiber Arts Guild for a free, public “Show and Tell” event. The Sacajawea Fiber Arts Guild will be demonstrating and displaying fiber arts activities in the Library Auditorium from 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. that Saturday, and they welcome everyone interested to stop by to watch them create, to ask questions, or to even try out some fun, tactile, fiber-focused art making processes right then and there!
The Sacajawea Fiber Arts Guild is a group that explores many forms of weaving, spinning, dying, basketry, jewelry (with a weaving or thread foundation), tatting, braid making, and more! All fiber arts enthusiasts are welcome to attend their meetings on the 4th Thursday of each month at LaFavorites Yarn Shop in Kelso. For more information, contact Joy Winther at email@example.com.
